Next Meeting

The next regular club meeting will be held on Tuesday May 1st, 6:30PM at the field.  Meetings will be held in May, Aug.,Oct., and Nov. this year.

Minutes from last Meeting

bulletMinutes were read and approved.
bulletTreasurers’ report read and approved.
bulletPresident’s report: We have been busy flying and having a great time in spite of the weather. The grounds are clean and everything is going very well.
bulletThere is a possibility the War birds may be interested in having a fly-in at our field. All agreed that we should look in to this and welcome them to come.
bulletJoe asked the club if we wanted to start back providing meals at the meetings. All agreed this was a good idea and that we should pass the hat at each meeting to pay for the meals. He suggested we appoint a committee to coordinate the meals and to enlist workers.
bulletA special thank you was extended to Danny Posey and Tony Denton for installing the water tank. When the weather

bulletwarms they will complete the piping. Joe mentioned we need to make sure the valve is shut off during the winter to keep the pipes from freezing.
bulletA special thank you was also extended to Al Eskridge for supplying the paint for the new tank and for doing some plumbing work.
bulletThe Pepsi machine was removed by Danny Posey. Danny will also get the refrigerator and take the stove to the dump.
bulletDarrel said some of our covers (tarps) were beginning to wear out and needed to be replaced. Joe said it would be a good idea to get some cord to weave around the edges of the tarps to prevent them from coming loose in the wind.
bulletMeeting adjourned
