read and approved. Jim Stewart reported the Bill
Polson auction brought it about $670.00. |
 | Joe said the barrels will
be sealed and the barrel at the far end of the
field will be the designated burn barrel. |
 | A Club sponsored
Tail-Gate/Swap Meet is proposed for Saturday,
May 13, 10am. A low-country boil will be
prepared by Don Allsep and Greg Masceri. The
meal will be free to club members with a charge
of $7.00 for guests. Donation will also be
accepted. We will need to get a count of the
number of people who plan to attend so the cooks
will know how much food to prepare. Contact Joe
or any club officer if you plan to attend. This
event will b held Rain or |
|
shine.
 | The annual Heli Fly-In is
scheduled for Friday – Sunday, September 15 –
17. All club members are asked to assist in this
event. Nelson made a motion that we have another
meeting before the Fly-In to help us prepare but
it was pointed out that we already have a
scheduled meeting for the month of August. |
 | Morgan Pritchard made a
suggestion that the club meetings be held
monthly instead of quarterly. Joe stated that he
was in favor of monthly meetings but the club
members had already discussed this in depth and
the majority favored quarterly meetings. Joe
also stated that any change in the meeting
schedule would require a change in the By-Laws. |
 | Nelson Swords will be
taking orders for club ball caps. Jim made a
motion that Nelson handle the money for |
|
 | the hats. Motion passed.
If you want to order a hat please see Nelson. |
 | Morgan Pritchard asked
about the club training courses. Joe said the
club has 2 courses out and they need to be
returned to the club. |
 | A thank you goes to Darrel
for preparing the Pinto beans for the meeting.
Thanks to other members for supplying cornbread
and desserts. |
Safety Tip of the Month
