Next Meeting
Our next
meeting will be our annual Christmas Party to be held at
Mutts BBQ on Tuesday Dec. 5th at 6:30PM.
We will have our usual “Yankee
Swap”gift exchange. Gifts to be $10.00 (or more ).

| A motion
was made and passed to have the secretary cast
one vote to unanimously elect all the officers
that were nominated. The new officers for 2007
are as follows: |

| Joe
reported the Fun-Fly was a great success and all
participants had fun. |
| Joe gave
the following report on the club field: The
lease is good for another 6 years. Grounds are
in excellent condition. The field Marshal is
doing a great job promoting safety. We don’t
have power or running water but we are managing
ok without it. He suggested to the club that we
start making long-term plans regarding the field
and that we may want to consider forming a
committee down the road to investigate the
possibility of procuring a permanent flying site
location. |

Swords made a recommendation that the club set
annual dates for a club Fun-Fly to be held in
the spring and fall. A motion and second was |
made that
we hold the
spring event
on the 2nd
Saturday
after |
Mother’s day and the
fall event on the 2nd Saturday in October.
The motion passed.
| Joe said we
had two old refrigerators, one Coke machine, and
one grill that needed to be thrown away. A
motion and second was made and passed. We also
need a bigger water tank to supply our
restrooms. Danny Posey said he may have a
500-600 gallon tank he could donate to the club. |
| Motion and
second was made to have the December meeting at
Mutt’s Barbecue on Tuesday, December 5th
at 6:30pm. Motion passed. We will have the
Yankee Swap with a $10.00 limit on the gifts. |
